The Mullins Family
Josh and Christa Mullins, have been called to serve with Mission to the World, the mission-sending agency of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), in Acapulco, Mexico, at the Casa Hogar orphanage, for a 2-3 year term. The children of Casa Hogar captured their hearts on their first visit to Acapulco in 2008. Since then, they have sensed God's calling to bring the love of Jesus Christ to the orphans and street children of that city.
The Mullins will be partnering with and serving the local PCA churches of Acapulco as they carry on the work of Casa Hogar, providing a physical and spiritual home for children whose families are unable or unwilling to care for them. They also have a heart to serve in the local church as it seeks more ways to expand its outreach to the people in the greater Acapulco area.
While they are raising support, Josh and Christa live in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where Josh serves as the music director at Hixson Presbyterian Church. The Mullins have also been blessed with two children, David (born in December 2008) and Abigail (born in July 2010).
