And
does the answer to this question have anything to do with what we should be
doing? Actually our beliefs about
eschatology (doctrines concerning the end times) profoundly shape how we live
and how we understand the mission of the Church. Over the next 6 to 8 weeks (beginning January 11th) Les Dalby will be
leading a discussion of what the Bible really says about the end times and the
difference a correct understanding should make in the lives of Christians. Join us on Sunday mornings at 9:00 in the
Michener Room.

Saint
Patrick is sending a team of missionaries to address the medical needs of the
poor in Honduras
on January 10th. The team consists of
Amy Ford, Isaac Hotz, Kennon Kirk, Laura Peverley, Elise Strauss, Mark Strauss
and Rosemary Thompson. They will stay in
Honduras
until January 18th.
Please
pray (1) for travel safety in both the flights there and back but, also around
and in Honduras; (2) for getting the medication through customs; (3) for health
and safety; (4) for communication — that the team’s Spanish will be effective;
(5) for team unity; (6) for the establishment of a good contact for future
mission trips; and (7) that the team
represent Saint Patrick Church and the Lord Jesus well.
